Managing cancer stress

Have you or someone in your family had a cancer diagnosis and are you wanting to manage stress, anxiety or feelings of depression?

The ‘Managing cancer stress’ program could be what you are looking for. The new program is for people who are seeking to address the emotional impact of a cancer experience and learn to manage stress.

During the 8-week program, you will learn mindfulness techniques that aim to develop an understanding of how the mind works and explores new ways of managing difficult thoughts and emotions. Mindfulness is being able to take a non-judgemental attitude to whatever is happening, connecting fully to the present moment. This approach is particularly valuable when facing the challenges of cancer.
